Biography

Dr. Fang Peng is the vice-director of the institute of atomic and molecular at Sichuan University, the member of the extreme crystal crystallography committee of the crystal society in China, the member of the Sichuan high pressure society. He received his M .S. and Ph.D. degree in  atomic and molecular physics from Sichuan University  in 1993 and 1997.  Visiting scholar at Carnegie Institution of Washington DC., Geophysical Laboratory, and Argonne National Laboratory, Advanced Photon Source in 2007-2008. His primary research area lies in high pressure science and technology , synthesis and characterization of materials under high pressure and  high temperature , supper hard materials.
