报告摘要:I discuss bulk viscosity in one-dimensional Bose gas (Lieb-Liniger model) and also the spinless fermion gas with effective range corrections. In particular, we compute exactly the viscosity Drude weight using hydrodynamic projection within the framework of generalised hydrodynamics. I first argue that a properly definition of bulk viscosity Drude weight within GGE would render it identically zero. On the other hand, within the standard Gibbs ensemble, we found a nonzero Drude weight which is consistent with those computed from diagrammatic expansion, in addition to a few new results.

报告人简介:Professor Shizhong Zhang works on the general area of ultra-cold atomic gases. He received his Bachelor from Tsinghua University, Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and did his postdoctoral training at The Ohio State University. He joined the University of Hong Kong in 2012. He did some early pioneer work on the universal properties of unitary Fermi gases and on the spin-orbit coupled quantum gases. His recent work focused on the transport properties of quantum gases, particularly with high-partial wave scattering.
